AC-EDU deployment - custom wall mount
Reason for Installation
This is a EDU deployment with custom made wall mount boxes. We went to our local carpenter and he made us those boxes. (Still disappointed that UBNT does not offer a wall mount) ;-)

Description

This is a AC-EDU deployment with custom made wall mount boxes.

(Still disappointed that UBNT does not offer a wall mount) ;-)

Older UAP, UAP-Pro, UAP-AC-Pro, UAP-AC-lite are being replaced by UAP-AC-EDU.
The installation has been running for 3 years as it is. This is just a replacement of the old APs and a deployment of the Unifi announcement system.

Pointing out the Netgear switch which is a powered by PoE .at and passes through .at power for the EDU.
Hard to believe but it works powered by .at and delivers .at. tested under heavy EDU load. keeps working without problems Luckily the EDU does not draw too much power.

Oh by the way this is a school. With altogether about 260 Macbooks and iMacs. Plus all the BYOD.

These are 4 buildings all connected to each other by fiber.

Do you use the EDU model for the public address feature?  Is it two-way?

Hi badler

Yes it's used for public address. It's just one way. Apparently there is an Microphone integrated.
