My Home Network a very basic breakdown

 

2 UniFi AC Lite Access Points providing full coverage of home, and outside areas. Fully cabled house all terminated in a  48 port Cat6 panel and patched into a Cisco 3750.

 

Inhouse cloud storage via Qnap 453+ 16tb also providing x2 virtual machines 1 running windows 10 for my UniFi controller and the other running Server 2016 for my Radius server for guest authentications.

 

The cabinet is a Rackyrax 21u, in black. with the addition of leds to add light in any colour.

is the temp hot in that cabinet?

Depends on the temp outside really. It can get a little hot but to help I keep the door open untill I get the cabinet fans fitted to extract the heat and this has worked well in keeping it cool

I initially did same thing. Only different between mine and ur setup is I got two 1817+ symbology and 6  nucs for virtual machines and it’s hot. I too all sides off to keep it under 80 degrees . With walls up it’s 87 ish

I'll be doing a short video soon with all the light changes etc I'll update this post once it's done as I've a second switch installed for testing and practicing my stacking skills on the cli 

 

Cardins2u I will update once I've added them etc it's a working progress...I've plans for additional kit as well so keep checking back

I just noticed the blue led strips going down the sides of the door. That's hot.
