Very basic setup.  16 port poe SW, CloudKey controller, USG, AC-Pro and AC-LR access points.  SB8200 cable modem.  WD MyCloud EX2 NAS and HD Homerun network TV tuner.  Will be adding a patch panel in the next week or two.  Overall I've never been happer with my network.  Much better that using those $500 giant routers.  Thanks Ubiquiti!

as USG Is also compulsory to have set up this network or i just bring out the lan wire from the router and insert it in unifi controller.

@abilash10

you can connect a cable from your router to the unifi switch.

I don't want to hurt you, but it seems you have very little knowledge about networking. I recommend you to hire a professional installer or learn the basics.

I have a very similar setup at home:

  • USG connected to cablemodem
  • 8-port 150W USW
  • AC-LR for wifi
  • Just this morning bought a CloudKey to replace the controller running on a RaspberryPi

The Raspberry Pi was doing an okay job at running the controller up until I tried to upgrade to the latest version; then it didn't have enough memory for the controller software.  I probably could have tuned the Java requirements, but picking up a CloudKey for me is the path of least resistance right now.

Well done!

@robertoaguilar  Cloudkey is definitely the way to go.  I had the controller running on a windows box.  Had connection issues and then the random windows update restarts made it almost unusable.
