Description

Hello all.

I built my home network in 2005. Last year, after a long reconnaissance of network devices, I decided to upgrade my home network using Ubiquiti.

The first step was the rebuilding of the patchpanel

Such a state was before reconstruction.

The old solution was based on surface-mounted sockets

I built a frame for the purchased patch panel

After the reconstruction it was like this.

Until the purchase of new devices, I installed my equipment so far

and the purchase of an uninterruptible power supply

After this modification, it was time to buy equipment and assemble, I also replaced the old file server for the new Synology, where the Unifi Controller software was installed on Doker

The UniFi AC Pro was mounted on the ceiling

I plan to do some kind of cooling system

I build frame for patch panel by my self. I used an aluminum profile (http://cezar.eu/en/unequal-sided-corners  W-AL-K4020-N-100)

I came across this ingenious idea myself Man Happy

I apologize for my poor English

@dchmiel You don't need to apologize for your English: most of us struggle with it as a first language!

The "Edit: Spelling" in @demonmaestro's post means that he/she noticed a spelling error in their own post and corrected it — it was not a criticism of your post.

Very slick setup!  Love the patch panel and equipment rack!  Might have to try and incorporate some of that into an in-cabinet rack for my place!

@dchmiel I had made a spelling mistake on my post. Your english is good. Sorry for the confusion.

@Troon is correct.
