UniFi on Hotel Adriano -Elegance Torremolinos

by ‎08-30-2015 03:54 PM - edited ‎08-30-2015 03:59 PM

Hi friends from Ubnt Community!

This project based in UniFi was finished on October 2014.

Hotel Adriano-Elegance is located at the main center of Torremolinos, Málaga, and it has 58 rooms.

The previous owner wanted a profer WiFi service and gave us chance to change whatever was needed to improve WiFi service and make the customer feel like home with a transparent and clear WiFi signal. As you know good WiFi in the hospitality industry is a must these days. If its not up to par the customer will go elsewhere. The old network was based in 5 Ovislink AP.

So our solution was very clear from the first moment we saw the situation! UniFi rules!

As known recently ( the company has changed of owner ) the service is running fine and there are no complaints since we installed the UniFi solution, even when the hotel is full, that means between 75 - 125 devices connected!

He are some pics of the installation...

Thanks @swemoph.

We also like to write and share our success cases based on UniFi.

It seems a very easy job, but believe me, it takes a lot of time and effort to convince the hospitality customer that good WiFi comes with good hardware and of course, a proper network design!

You hid the most interesting part of the layout...your choice of channels. How did you keep eight units from interfering with each other?
