Skunk Encounters of the Third Kind

by Ubiquiti Employee ‎08-11-2017 07:43 AM - edited ‎08-14-2017 08:39 AM

A few of my animals had an interesting encounter with a skunk this week.  I initially thought they had got sprayed through the fence (happened last year), but after pulling the footage, I found out that wasn't the case.

Looks like the cat keeps looking at the door for help from the humans.

Dang, that pug got nailed good.  The cat was the smartest one of the bunch just hanging out lol.

@zunder1990  I think you are right.  I looked further back and the cat (Fritz) knew something was up before hand and was pacing around the yard.

@WisTech  Yup, he got it pretty bad.  I couldn't tell who got hit since it was so strong.... every one ended up getting an  H202 + baking soda bath

When the pug came up, the skunk was straight up "Fight me!"

Fritz the cat, now that’s funny. Our cat is Bob…. Bobcat.

omg - This was exactly why I put my G3s in my backyard. A few years ago both my dogs got sprayed. Great video. You can see the skunk warn the cat by stomping its feet. The cat knew better, but your dog didnt!

Exactly!  Ace (the black dog the got sprayed) only has one gear - full speed ahead
