2014 Macbook Pro connectivity problems - AC-LR - 5.0.7 & 3.7.5.4969

We've a customer who has a 2014 13" Macbook Pro that is unable to connect to the wireless, which is a AC-LR running 5.0.7 software and 3.7.5.4969 firmware.

They've spend 2 hours on the phone to Apple trying to resolve, but it still won't connect. They've taken the Macbook to friends houses, work etc and it works fine, so is isolated to home and the Unifi environment. So at the moment, it needs to be hard wired to work, which is far from ideal.

I've read a few other people have reported similar issues, so is there a fix, or a special firmware we can run to resolve this, as the customer wants this sorted ASAP, understandably.

Thanks in advance.

There is a Beta Firmware out that should fix Apple connectivity problems:

You need to sign up for Beta access to get it:

Please give kudo's to the people who have helped you and mark your thread as solved when you receive a solution to your issue.

Thanks for the pointer, I already have access to the Beta forum and didn't spot that post.

I've uploaded the new firmware and asked the customer to check. I'll report back the findings.

Thanks again!
