Changing Controller Ports on Rasperry Pi has no effect

Hi,

I changed the unifi.http.port from 8080 to 8983 on my raspberry pi as root. But after I reboot and open  system.properties again, it changed back to the default 8080 port.

Not sure what I'm missing here? After my initial adjustment, the changed port is saved. It resets back to default after a reboot.

I attempted to change ports on my Debian VM controller, and the controller wouldn't respond on any port (confirmed with netstat) until I changed it back.

What I've done in the past is set up a redirect using apache to the Java webserver on 8443.

Have you remembered to change the line near the bottom of system.properties to is_default=false ?

If you don't, a reboot will overwrite anything you put in system.properties with the default settings.

I, in fact, did not remember to change it. However, after opening it again, "is_default" is already set to "false"
