Covered but open - indoor or outdoor?

I am going to be installing a few APs in a tropical setting. The two large, main rooms are covered but, for the most part, have no walls or windows (see photo). Would you treat this as indoor or outdoors when choosing your AP? Basically: AC-LR, AC-PRO, or AC-M?

If it were my patios I would probably put AP-AC's. Pro or nanoHD. But thats me. Only the PRO declares itself as Outdoor but maybe someone could say why that is. They all physically look the same except for diamaters and thicknesses. I know their wireless capabilities are different. Also on the data sheet they all list almost the exact same temp and humidity tolerances. You didn't mention the size of the area or the max number of simultaneous people.

AC_AP Data Sheet

nanoHD Data Sheet

A good bit of other post that ask for outdoor coverage, lots of people suggest the AC-MESH lineup. I dont have much experience with those. But they are all declared as outdoor capable.

With that said, I have seen photos on this forum of poeple having Lites, LR's, HD's, and even a nano under their patios and under the eve of their roof. Whatever path you take I wish you the best.

SIde question = Can you tell us about where this is? Just curious. It looks great.

Re: Covered but open - indoor or outdoor?

+1 for AC-M. The AC-M's can take alot of  winter / summer weather abuse.

Re: Covered but open - indoor or outdoor?

Thanks guys. Going with the AC-M makes sense. Appreciate the input!
