Getting consistant leangthy pings every 19 seconds since i upgraded firmware. 12 unifi AP-AC-Pro wireless. no problems with physical connection.
The ICMP (ping) is a low priority process, the high times I can indicate that the CPU is engaged in the other tasks. Are you sure that there aren't traffic or other process that take CPU load (ex.: monitoring process)?

I've the same issue on my Controller v5.9.29 as reported by some users.
All devices except the UniFi Switch 16 POE-150W show me that are ready to upgrade.
By checking the avaible firmwares, the Controller downloaded it.
I'm curious to understand these issue.
I don't touch anything and now the controller show me the firmware also for the switch missing.

This new firmware looks fine to my devices other then an UniFi AP-Pro.
The SNMP is again broken which was fixed in the "New Base Platform Beta" firmware.
Switching the AP-Pro back to the beta firmware.

I had problems upgrading UAP-LR and UAP. When trying to upgrade from controller 5.9.29 (Build: atag_5.9.29_11384), from 22.214.171.12436 to 126.96.36.19972 the behaviour was like upgraded started, AP restarted but got online with old firmware. Figured out the issue is https link. Manual upgrade or custom upgrade via controller, using http works. Same setup here, been running flawlessly for about 8 months now.
Also just upgraded my two UAPs and two 8-Port switches to 4.0.15...everything seems fine at first glance!
Also is it just me or are there alot of stable firmware releases in a row all of a sudden? Sometimes it's been months between releases, now it seems like days...not complaining, just an observation of mine.

Lots of issues jumping from the 3.9.x versions to 4.0.x.. Guess they are bug fixing as they get reports. Just look at how big the threads are when they release the stable versions.
My ER-X is no different. Huge issues jumping from 1.10.x to 2.0.0.

Set my HD to VHT160,
Tested my WiFi speed from my laptop, and got 940 mbps down 31 mbps up (on gigabit internet). used to get 600 or so down 31 up.
Unifi shows link speed at 1.56GBps (was 877Mbps perviously)..
WiFi adapter is Intel(R) Wireless-AC 9260 160MHz

I'm going to leave caching on. From what I understand from other posts, it keeps the firmware on the controller server/pc only needing to download one copy.

Try to cache firmware in "controller > settings > maintenance > ( scroll down ) > firmware > cache".
It helped me.
Follow these steps if UniFi AP-LR (maybe other models too) failed be upgraded.
