Re: [FIRMWARE] 4.0.21.9965 for UAP/USW has been released | Stable

I can’t even through tftp downgrade firmware from 4.0.21.9965 to 4.0.15 and below. They then go into a cyclic reboot! Guys do something. Because of this update, everything has worked for me! I have a disaster!

Re: [FIRMWARE] 4.0.21.9965 for UAP/USW has been released | Stable

After upgrading to this version, I have seen the signal strength and range on the  UniFi AP-AC-Pro has gone down dramatically.

Has anyone seen this issue lately? I have tried a hard power cycle as well...

Re: [FIRMWARE] 4.0.21.9965 for UAP/USW has been released | Stable

It was done via the UniFy portal so I did not manually select the software.

Re: [FIRMWARE] 4.0.21.9965 for UAP/USW has been released | Stable

Any news on when a new firmware update is going to be available for the AP-AC-PRO? to resolve the DHCP timeout and other issues?

Re: [FIRMWARE] 4.0.21.9965 for UAP/USW has been released | Stable

I run about 20 AC-Pros and am not experiencing this issue.

If you are I suggest you downgrade while looking for more solutions. I had some DHCP timeouts on AC-HDs and a restart fixed the issue.

Re: [FIRMWARE] 4.0.21.9965 for UAP/USW has been released | Stable

Thanks for your reply,

From what I've read, a lot of people are having issues with DHCP timeouts - but downgrading does fix the issue.
It seems to only be with Windows Server DHCP, as others have had DHCP issues with Synology and Cisco Routers etc. which seem to be fine, and don't cause issues.

In our environment it's not causing any issues (except for the initial upgrade day when I had to restart each DHCP server individually, as clients would connect but not get Internet access) but it's mainly for the metrics and false 0% WiFi experience stats that keep appearing.

Blindspot, I'm not running any 3rd party DHCP.

Thanks for adding that, now that you mention it I have seen this in older threads as well.

Re: [FIRMWARE] 4.0.21.9965 for UAP/USW has been released | Stable

I have huge problems in company with this update.

I have 3 AP LR, 1 AC Lite and 1 AC Pro.

The immediate effect was that i lost at least 20-30% range with the same settings. I suppose i need to downgrade all to 4.0.15 but now i see in the unifi cloud key a button to Downgrade, 1st time i see that and i tried it but update failed.

I will try now to downgrade all with SSH.

This is bad really bad guys...

I'm not experiencing this with any of the Pro units that I have deployed.

Try to reset them and then downgrade. That worked for me.
