FIRMWARE 4.0.42.10433 for UAP/USW Problems with Sonos

Hello,

I updated my Unifi products APAC Pro and Switch to FIRMWARE 4.0.42.10433 after that I had no WLAN access to Sonos speakers Play1 anymore.

After restarting APAC Pro, the Sonos access worked for about 2 hours.

I then patched all my Unifi devices back to FIRMWARE 4.0.30.10217 and have no more problems with my Sonos Pay1 speakers.

Can you confirm the error ?

Yours sincerely

We're having the same issues in our house. Sonos works sporadically, some rooms disappear, some speakers disappear, then it all comes back online with a USW restart and POE power cycle.

I'd go as far to say my entire home wireless performance degraded following the last batch of firmware updates to USG/UAP/USW.

I see the same problem. I can start the music directly on the speaker but my controller (OSX and iOS) can't find any devices. After restart it works for around 12 hours then the speakers missing from the controller on at a time.

Hi,

There's many issues with 4.0.42.10433 with 2.4GHz only devices. Ensure you have both the following turned off:

Settings -> Site -> Auto-Optimize Network

Settings -> Wireless Networks -> Advanced Options -> High Performance Devices.

I'm sure this will be fixed in the next firmware but this should work for now, or downgrading.
