Facebook Check In access

Hi

I have set up a wireless network with Guest access which is authenticated by Facebook check in.

That all works fine, except the Guest gets access to the internet even if they do not check in or enter the bypass code.

All else guest-wise seesm to be OK, they cannot access the corporate LAN etc.

Any idea please?

Many thanks!

Re: Facebook Check In access

Hi

Thanks for the reply

Yes I looked at the guide and I think I am set up correctly.

The user selects the WiFi network and gets directed to the facebook page to check-in however after about 5 seconds access is granted to the wifi- the phone screen goes back to wifi connections and it says connected.

I can then browse wherever.

I am sure it must ne something as simple as a tick box I have missed!

Re: Facebook Check In access

Same problem here,

the only way to stop this, is to enable "HTTPS Blokking" but then the facebook check-in will not work any more ..

and finding and maintaining all de nesecary HTTPS IP's and DNS to allow this prior CHECK IN is not easy.

Is there a sollution for this ?

Can Ubiquiti configure a wallet-garden templat with all the FACEBOOK chekin HTTPS IP's and DNS ?
