Running controller 5.5.24
The guest portal appears to function properly; however, a client must enter the password twice before it authorizes them.
Client connects to the guest network.
The portal comes up.
Client checks the "terms of service" box and enters the password.
Client hits the "Connect" button.
The portal page refreshes (as if it is a bad password)
Client again checks the "terms of service" box and enters the password.
After the second attempt, the client is auhtorized successfully and they are redirected to the proper URL.
We have verified that it is not a bad password issue.
Any help would be appreciated. I appologize if this subject has been brought up before. I did some searching in the forums before posting this and did not find any relevant information.

Where does the portal redirect to when guest is authorized? And is that address available after first authorisation?
Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.

@joshjennings Seems like a slow controller. Does it have sufficient resources such as memory and disk IO? Or else the cause could be high latency connections between the APs and the controller. To test this see what happens after the first login of a client (and do not login for a second time) by checking the controller event log for an authorisation message. The check the time between the client login and the auth message timestamp.
