Guest network without guest policy still goes to guest portal.

Hi foks,

Here's what I'm trying to do, but it doesn't seem to be working.

Expected result:

Guest Network (VLAN 10) and SSID w/ Guest Policy enabled goes to the guest portal.

Guest Network (VLAN 20) and SSID w/ Guest Policy disabled does not go to the guest portal.

Actual result:

Both guest networks get promped with the portal.

This seems like a bug?

Re: Guest network without guest policy still goes to guest portal.

You can't select which guest networks use a portal and which do not, currently.  Either they would all use a portal or none would use a portal.

Some searching on this should turn up several threads on this, including several UniFi Feature Requests / Suggestions:

and others.  If those sound like what you need then please give them upvotes (Kudos).  These should all be reconciled appropriately into one request. . .

Work to address this has been reported to be underway in at least some of the above.

Hello @wing-it,

I believe this is normal behaviour, since they are both GUEST networks.
