Launch Button Greyed Out on UniFi Dashboard

For some reson, unifi.ubnt.com sees my controller and says it is online. The lauch button is grey out and it wont let me log into the controller. I logged in remotley to check the controller and it is online. I went to my phone and tried th controller to. It worked fine, with no issues. What is the issue with the online verison.

Re: Launch Button Greyed Out on UniFi Dashboard

There are a lot of threads going around talking about the Cloud access not working. I don't use mine that often and I actually setup another controller this morning for testing. It was all working very well a couple hours ago, now I am seeing the Launch buttons grayed out as well.

Thankfully I don't use this way of getting to my controller as it seems very unreliable.

They might be working on it and stopped everyone from launching their sites so they can do a deep dive..which is needed.

Hello @cbradshaw,

My cloud access is working fine... Have you tried reconfiguring Cloud Access?

Settings > Cloud Access > Disable and Remove Cloud Access

Re: Launch Button Greyed Out on UniFi Dashboard

@cbradshaw
Trying to get more info. Are your sites that are working on Cloud Key's or a PC or something else?

@AmazedMender16 I would imagine your login to the Unifi cloud might be hitting another server that isn't taken down for maintenance.

But again, since we are not working at the company, we are just guessing.

Re: Launch Button Greyed Out on UniFi Dashboard

So this grey button issue seems distinct from the other issue of not being able to connect AFTER pressing the button.

When you have a grey button you'll notice it says Sites = 0. I've seen this too sometimes and I just re-load the browser and log back in and it usually works.

Re: Launch Button Greyed Out on UniFi Dashboard

There were temporary issues with handling all state updates reported by some of controllers. Those issues are already solved and we are working long term solution for this kind of incidents.

Re: Launch Button Greyed Out on UniFi Dashboard

I'm having exactly the same problem: the launch button is greyed out and zero sites are listed. The mobile App however work just fine. If I enable controller online notification within the App, I get notification of connection and disconnection every 4 for 5 minutes. But I'm sure all these time the controller is up and running as I can view and change settings in the mobile App while it happened. The controller is in AWS and was setup by my home automation supplier and they would not give me direct access.

And this has been going on for more than a month now. Before this happened, it also have problem with the WebRTC connection method. I remember I can only launch using ip address.

Re: Launch Button Greyed Out on UniFi Dashboard

If you encounter issues please send me PM with details:

I would need deviceId. You can get it from browser Developer Tools Network tab from /list endpoint response.

If possible logs from JS Console.

Thanks
