Macbook Air fails to auto-connect after UAP-PRO to UAP-AC-HD Hardware Upgrade

Hi all,

We are experiencing an issue with UAP-AC-HD-US tested with v3.7.35.6029 and v3.7.58.6385.  We have a Macbook Air Mid 2012 OSX 10.8.5 (12F2560) with AirPort Extreme (0x14E4, 0xE9) Broadcom BCM43xx 1.0 (FW

If a UAP-PRO is upgraded to the UAP-AC-HD-US with the same SSID / PSK, the Macbook Air will manually connect without prompting for a PSK, but will not automatically reconnect after a suspend / resume cycle.

If the Macbook is successfully connected to the network and then suspends / resumes, the Macbook will not automatically re-establish the connection to the access point.  The Macbook then requires someone to manually re-select the network for the connection to be re-established.

Current workaround:

We were able to solve this issue by fully removing and reconnecting to the SSID causing the issue.

Network Settings > Wi-Fi > Advanced > [select SSID] > [click the "-" button]

We wanted to share this since it took us a long time to characterize the issue, which affects many machines. We are not certain if the issue lies with OSX, BCM firmware or the UAP firmware (or a combination).
