Hello,

I have just completed the RMA form for 4 of these switches.  RM281226

Please can you advise the procedure/timeframe for these being replaced?

Thanks

Re: Manufacturing Mixup, Gen1 UniFi Switches without 24V Support

Hi

I can see that you have helped a lot of people with this issue. I as well have an affected 16 AT-150W, so I have created an RMA case with No. RM281890.

But also got a problem with it´s POE connections, where it should run 2 AP. It has work perfectly over the last 6 months, but for a week ago it began to cut the connection to AP for every hour, and then have to restart the switch and then It will run for 1 hour again Man Surprised( So basicly i do not have wifi in the house for the moment.

Then contacted chat support this weekend and he referred me to this forum post.

Re: Manufacturing Mixup, Gen1 UniFi Switches without 24V Support

[ Edited ]

I discovered today that I also have one of these 16 port switches that doesn't support 24v PoE unfortunately. Man Sad I've sent in the RMA request and it was immedietly approved by an automated response email. In the instructions it says I have to ship in my item, then 2-3 weeks later they'll send the replacement. Is there no way to have them send the replacement then I can return the defective item in their box? Better yet I live only 19 minutes away from the address in Draper where they're saying to ship the item to. Does anyone know if they allow people to just drive there to swap out the item? Maybe @UBNT-DavidS can chime in on that possibility? Also I don't seem to have the ability to direct message, and others have said support has to enable that, so can someone enable that for me?
