Re: Manufacturing Mixup, Gen1 UniFi Switches without 24V Support

@UBNT-DavidS is there any chance of buying one of these at a discounted cost??

Thanks!

No. They will not be on sale as they are getting reworked.

Re: Manufacturing Mixup, Gen1 UniFi Switches without 24V Support

Oh, duh. Guess I should have figured that's the preferred course of action. If it's just one run, paying a bunch of techs to manually add the missing components isn't the end of the world Man Happy

Re: Manufacturing Mixup, Gen1 UniFi Switches without 24V Support

I ended up with one of these.  I sent a PM to David to get this taken care of.

What is a bummer is I wanted to take the time I have off between Christmas and New Years to upgrade my home network and that makes that pretty much impossible unless UBNT sends an advanced replacement with at least 2 day shipping...  I'm in Massachusetts on the east coast.

We'll see what happens -- I've got 2 existing 24V access points and I plan to add UVC G3 cameras that want 24 volts also.  Only thing I can power with my switch right now is my cloud key Man Sad

I also ended up with the UniFi Switch 16 AT-150W without passive POE -24V.  How can I PM you with the information you need?

Re: Manufacturing Mixup, Gen1 UniFi Switches without 24V Support

@UBNT-DavidS I sent you a PM hoping to get my incorrect switch changed out ASAP. I took time off between Christmas and New year's to get the gear installed and now that plan is blown.... Was hoping I'd hear something today and saw you posted to others on this thread but response to me Man Sad

Re: Manufacturing Mixup, Gen1 UniFi Switches without 24V Support

I have two of these switches without 24V Support but they both have a Test Date outside of the the range specified for the US-16-150W.  The test date is 10/10/2017. Is this already known? How do I get them swapped out? This is costing us as now we have two more service calls to add to the schedule to swap these out.

@UBNT-DavidS I sent a PM regarding the RMA and advanced replacement and was hoping to hear an answer today.  Any chance I could include a credit card you guys can bill for advanced replacement and then credit when the RMA materials are returned?  I don't want to have to take my network down while waiting for the replacement items thus advanced replacement would work a lot better.
