Missing Client but IP works

I have a couple of cameras hard wired to my network. All but one are showing up in the USG UniFi Client screens. However, one is proving to be difficult. It doesn't appear on the main client screen but I can see its MAC address in the list when I click on "All Configured Clients". So, I gave it a static IP from there and I can get directly into the camera by going to taht static IP but the camera STILL isn't showing up as a client in UniFi.

Any ideas?

Did you ever figure out what the problem was? I have 5 out of 20 or so wired clients that arent showing IP addresses in the client list.

Re: Missing Client but IP works

Hello @justinreehl1,

Upgrade to the latest java 8, and upgrade your controller to the latest 5.8.28.

You can use my easy upgrade script if you use ubuntu 16.04 or 18.04.

Regards,

Glenn R.

Re: Missing Client but IP works

I am currently using Java 8 Build 181 and controller Build atag_5.8.28_11052 on a windows 10 PC.

Ubiquiti support had me restart the controller and clear browser cache and access it in incognito mode, but that made no difference... I will keep trying with them.
