No password

New customer that recently purchased an office building with several access points and a cloud key.

Customer has no idea who installed the system, no logins, passwords, or other information.  Is there anyway to get a new password for the cloudkey?

Re: No password

Hello and welcome to the community @busster8!

If you can't get the usernames/passwords and the email address is not set for resetting or its not under your account, then you have to factory reset everything and start from scratch.

Hello @busster8,

Welcome to the community!

Do you know the local UCK logins, if so you can create a new password for the controller.

Did they have autobackups turned on or do you have a backup file?

If they have backups you could reset the UCK and via the CLI change the controller password. ( I can help you via PM )

apt update; apt install whois
mongo --port 27117 ace --eval "db.admin.find().forEach(printjson);"
mkpasswd -m sha-512
mongo --port 27117 ace --eval 'db.admin.update( { "name" : "<UserName>" }, { $set : { "x_shadow" : "<output_previous_command>" } } )'

Replace <UserName> with the admin account and <output_previous_command> with the output of the mkpasswd command.

Glenn R.

Hello @busster8,

Than you have to take the risk and hope they have AUTOBACKUPS.

The default UCK logins are ubnt/ubnt  ( factory default )
