Site APs stuck on v4.0.14.9736

I've got a site, the server is hosted in Amazon AWS, with VPN via router to connect from where the APs are. DHCP option 43 pointing to the UniFi controller IP... and since upgrading to 5.12.10/17 we cannot load UAPs with anything newer, even 4.0.15.x...

Hello @itlifesaver,

Use HTTP instead of HTTPS

Hello @itlifesaver,

Cache the firmware on the controller and upgrade once the firmware has been cahced!

Settings > Maintenance > Firmware

Re: Site APs stuck on v4.0.14.9736

Thanks, I'm familier with that option, but that's not the issue. That already has the newest listed too.

Like I said, we've even tried manually upgrading via ssh upgrade [UAP_firmware_url].

That worked! Thanks so much. Any ideas why https didn't work?

Re: Site APs stuck on v4.0.14.9736

Hello @itlifesaver,

There are known issues with G1 units and HTTPS on 4.0.14.
