Slow load of pages when first hitting them

Hi guys,

So I just got into Unifi, and went all in.

USG, 2x 8 PoE 150w switches, and 1x (for now) AP HD (will add a 2nd once I move in a few months).

I have home FTTC so 80/20, and infront of the USG is a Netgear DM200 that is in bridge mode.

Basically I've setup USG to use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for dns.

But pages went first being hit seem super slow.

Like go to amazon it hits the url, page is just white for a few seconds then loads in.

This is happening across all devices, and it just makes the whole internet feel slow when its not.

This is my first setup, so I could have missed something.

Any help or advice?

Re: Slow load of pages when first hitting them

Is the issue noticeable on wireless as well as wired devices? Can you directly plug your wired device into Netgear DM200 and see if you have same experience/issues?

Re: Slow load of pages when first hitting them

Only notice it on Wirless devices.

I'll plug something into the modem tomorrow (in the baby's room)
