USG DHCP question

Hello,

I recently installed about half a dozen AP AC Lite's and Pros throughout my company. They work great.

I want to have my guest network on a different IP scheme and subnet but I understand in order to do this I need to use the USG with  a VLAN.

We already have a high-end Cisco router/firewall for our WAN/LAN. If I use the USG inside our LAN, how can I prevent it from handing out DHCP to anything but my access points and wireless users?

Thanks!

Re: USG DHCP question

Define the same network in the controller as on your cisco gear, same VLAN's, and tag the correct wireless networks in those vlan's.

Should just 'work' Man Wink

Re: USG DHCP question

Should the USG be in the same IP address range as my LAN?

I thought I read where it has to be different. Example, if my LAN is setup as 192.168.1.XXX they said to put the USG as something like 192.168.2.XXX
