UniFi Cloud Access gets 'CONNECTION FAILED' after enabling local SSO login

After enabling local SSO login, I was able to log in with my UBNT account locally just fine, but now when connecting from the UniFi Cloud Access Portal it ends up with a CONNECTION FAILED. The controller shows in the list on https://unifi.ubnt.com/ just fine, but gives that error about 1 second into loading the launch page. I have disabled the cloud access by 'forgetting' from the https://unifi.ubnt.com/ page and the controller 'Cloud Access' page showed that cloud access was disabled now. I re-enabled it and the same issue still occured.

 

A reboot of the controller host has not fixed it

 

I have the .supp support logs file if a UBNT employee PMs me 

 

EDIT: Odd, incognito window on my computer, still same error, incognito on my Android phone browser, same problem, UniFi app on Android can connect to the controller, while the browsers are all giving that error. It might have taken longer to log in than usual in the app, although I can't be sure.

I have exactly same problem. It was fine before update.

 

Edit: Just found a useful information on update thread. It fixes it "temporarily".

Yes that does fix it, hopefully UBNT are fully aware and will replace the cert with something that all browsers will trust @UBNT-MikeD @UBNT-cmb @UBNT-Grzegorz

We pushed a fix for this yesterday. It's possible that it may take some time before it propagates in some cases..

I realize complaining about this isn't helping, but I'm still having the same problem.  Nothing I've found has fixed this issue.  Sure would be nice to see my updated sites on the cloud interface.

Unfotuantly the fix hasn't worked for us as we are still getting the failed to connect on controller version 5.9.29. I have updated firmware on the UniFi AP to 3.9.54.9373

FYI, we found a solution for this.
After updating either UniFi or Java, make sure you do not start the Windows service again right away. Instead run the interactive daemon which appears as a small window instead. When I did that, JAVA appeared with some required firewall change prompts I had to accept. Once those were accepted I shut down the interactive application and started the Windows service like normal. After that the cloud access worked fine.

I just use the desktop shortcut to launch it. It points to:
"C:\Users\%userprofile%\Ubiquiti UniFi\lib\ace.jar" ui

thanks, i used that and got an open with prompt. I removed and reinstalled Java. Stopped the service and ran the interactive damon. I tested in the web portal and can now connect from our cloud account. Thanks for your help

What happens if you disable and remove cloud access and then re-enable it after?

I've been using Ubiquiti equiptment for about 6 months now.

 

This cloud access feature has never worked for me.

I'm running my controller on a Raspberry Pi running Raspbian.

 

It doesn't matter which browser I try.

 

Do I have to open specific ports on my Unifi Security Gateway for this cloud feature to work or am I missing some other basic setting here?

 

Disabling and re-enabling cloud access on my controller did not fix it.

 

I'm running controller version 5.9.29 on my Raspberry Pi at the moment.

Make sure you're not blocking any of the Cloud Access ports.

I am also having the issue and the iphone app is not working as well, it did used to but cant access anything via Cloud Access ?
