Current ISP Load -> View Histroy - shows wrong colors in the graph

My line is 94Mbps down and 36Mbps up. Did a test download to see whats happens in the graph. Download shows purple, instead of blue in the graph.

I noticed dark mode does not work, until you go into the setting page.  I tried turning it off and back on and still nothing.

Re: UniFi SDN Controller 5.9.29 Stable has been released

I just downgraded the controller on my Cloud Key to 5.8.30 and restored a backup.

All firmware versions stayed the same as before ( 3.9.54.9373 for USW and UAP and  4.4.29.5124210 for USG).

I conencted the Philips TV back to the LAN and there are no more reboots. My Ambilight sync program is now functioning again.

This confirms that the issue which created a reboot every 2 minutes on Philips TV is linked to the controller version, it is not related to the device firmwares.

I will stay on 5.28.30 until a newer version of the controller is released, which hopefully will fix the bug introduced in 5.9.29.

Re: UniFi SDN Controller 5.9.29 Stable has been released

@Olivier67

You did not by any chance grab a "show configuration" from the USG using 5.9.29 to compare against that using 5.8.30? Even though the Controller is the component that makes the difference I think it may be because it provisions differently.

Ive reported this several times to ubnt, weeks ago when it was a "stable candidate", and so far not even a single reply to the posts, which also include a number of other bugs on 5.9.29, not even an acknowledgement they'd even bothered to read them, so.....

Best of luck

Starting to become disillusioned....i used to wonder how people became that way on here, now i know....

One of my posts on the matter, from earlier in this thread, unacknowledged like the rest of them, passed/glossed over by ubnt staff...how about you actually take the 5 seconds it takes to ackowledge youve seen it ubnt????

How is this still slated as stable when theres been numerous reports of errors with it

I myself reported these errors:

* DPI Stats being completely wrong

* Black text on black background in Debug Terminal (i need this to work as i dont have access onsite, and its essential for me for maintenance)

* White text on white background in controller logs

Another problem: when I try to save the WLAN configuration for the Zero-Handoff network, a message appears
"There was a problem with saving changes to the device: Invalid API query"

Re: UniFi SDN Controller 5.9.29 Stable has been released

Hello @proask,

I can't replicate this, could you try to restart the controller and clear the browser cache?

Take a screenshot if it appears again.

Thanks for the suggestions, I tried all of them (also on other browsers, which I usually do not use), unfortunately the problem still occurs.

However, in the logs another interesting fact:

<webapi-47> INFO  api    - [api] api.err.Invalid: /api/s/gws5hh7f/rest/device/5bc0e68...

Re: UniFi SDN Controller 5.9.29 Stable has been released

The hard limit of 64 networks continues to be a MASSIVE problem for us.  We deployed UniFi in a housing complex with over 50 suites (33 APs, USG, 48 port switch, etc), and segragated them all on their own VLAN.  The addition of a few extra suites has now created a huge problem.  This is a serious limitation that significantly limits the ability to rollout UniFi on a large scale like this.  I can't choose this platform for additional projects due to this.

Thank you, Glenn, for helping me

Well, I've come back to version 5.8.30 (there is no problem here). I will have to wait a bit for "new" Man Happy

Re: UniFi SDN Controller 5.9.29 Stable has been released

@sbellon

This morning I saved configurations from the USG (show configuration) and the USW (cat /tmp/running.cfg) while on controller version 5.8.30.

I also captured a 3 minute wireshark trace of the LAN port where the TV is connected (TV did not reboot while on controller 5.8.30).

I then upgraded again to controller 5.9.29.

I saved configurations again from the USG and the USW.

Agian I captured a wrireshark trace of the LAN port of the TV, this time the TV did reboot less than 2 mminutes after I enabled the port).

I compared the USG configuraion files and the USW configuration files (5.8.30 vs 5.9.29).

The files are exactly identical !

In the USW configuration, there is the line: unifi.version=5.8.30. Even this did not change after upgrade to 5.9.29... I guess it may change if I reboot the switch.

However, even without rebooting any equipmnet,  the TV does go into the reboot loop every 2 minutes after the upgrade to 5.9.29 and it does NOT reboot at all while on 5.8.30.

I will try to analyze the wireshark traces, however I'm not sure what to look for.

Re: UniFi SDN Controller 5.9.29 Stable has been released

Across about 20 sites we had about 5% of the devices come back 'disconnected' but still functional.

Had to issue a set-inform to get them back.

Re: UniFi SDN Controller 5.9.29 Stable has been released

Hi everyone, i was wandering if someone can clarify... the release notes state:

"Topology chart - in case of low depth make the chart wider."

I understood it to mean that if my chart is so tall (shallow) that if i zoom out to see all of it, I cant' make out individual details, then i will be able to make it wider - am I wrong?! This was one of the main reasons that I wanted to update to the new version - but the support keeps on telling me that you can't make the topology chart wider... and refuse to explain what does that note mean... does perhaps someone udnderstand it better than I?

Hello @jason99,

Upgrade the devices to 3.9.54, 3.9.42 has a DNS issue.
