Unify AC-LR keeps restarting

One of my AP-AC-LR's keeps restarting itself. Its name is Casita. Looking at the event log below, you can see in roughly a two hour period it restarted 7 times, sometime after 5 minutes, sometime a little over an hour. Once after 1 minute

.

It is at the end of a 100 ft CAT 6 line, with a POE injector providing power. I do have a 16 port Unify switch, but I couldn’t get any connection with it plugged into it. I did adjust the POE type.

Obviously this is completely unacceptable performance. It’s been up for a while without this issue.

1. I would verify that the AP is updated.
2. The POE injector could be going bad.
3. Can you not get the Unifi switch to power the AP?
4. Can you post screenshots of the confi of switch and port config?

The AP was updated to the latest firmware.

I could not get the Unifi switch to power the AP. I tried again. I configured the port to passive 24 volt, and waited for the lightling icon on the port. It never connected.

I have taken the POE injector and put it at the other end, close to the AP. Its been stable for 6 hours.  It going to be a pain in the ass to run the electric line their, but at least it works. I'm dissapointed that I can't power the AP over a 100 foot line.

Re: Unify AC-LR keeps restarting

What Cat6 cable do you have? CU, CCA? Solid, stranded? AWG? I use only solid copper, AWG23 and I dont have any problem.

Hello @DaleFProctor,

Do you have a syslog server running?

How are the CPU and MEM stats?
