I have tried some inform commands on my aps and one of my switches and rebooted my firewall. I can still can connect via my VPN on my USG and use RDP and using Chrome RDP as a bakcup incase things go wrong... all of my home devices are connected and I can get to my guest wifi splash page so everything seems to work minus my devices connections to my controller itself...

I also have several remote sites that have lost connectivity due to this as well. My local devices inform directly to my server but the remote devices connect using a hostname

Re: Updated to 5.10.12 and all devices are disconected

Wow.... I never would have thought updating a controller would cause an issue like that... Went into my server firewall and added the unifi ports (went ahead and did all of them) and everything came back up. Thanks for the simple solution... spent more time defaulting/restarting/etc than simply adding a firewall rule...

Hello @scotthillphoto,

Glad I was able to help, I don’t recommend opening the DB port though.

Hello @iroody,

I think I already see your issue!

Could you share the output of the following commands?

dpkg -l | grep oracle
dpkg -l | grep openjdk

Next time please create a new thread.

Re: Updated to 5.10.12 and all devices are disconected

Hello @iroody,

Leave it for now!

Okay... run the following commands one by one.

sudo apt-key adv --recv-key --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com EEA14886
echo deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/webupd8team/java/ubuntu trusty main >>/etc/apt/sources.list.d/glennr-pi-java.list
echo deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/webupd8team/java/ubuntu trusty main >>/etc/apt/sources.list.d/glennr-pi-java.list
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install oracle-java8-installer
sudo apt-get install oracle-java8-set-default

Once that runs correctly run this.

su
service unifi stop
apt purge oracle-java8-jdk -y
sed -i 's/^JAVA_HOME/#JAVA_HOME/' /etc/default/unifi
echo "JAVA_HOME="$( readlink -f "$( which java )" | sed "s:bin/.*$::" )"" >> /etc/default/unifi
service unifi start

Re: Updated to 5.10.12 and all devices are disconected

Running the first command gives already an error.

Executing: /tmp/apt-key-gpghome.raCHfqMAQ5/gpg.1.sh --recv-key --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com EEA14886
gpg: failed to start the dirmngr '/usr/bin/dirmngr': No such file or directory
gpg: connecting dirmngr at '/tmp/apt-key-gpghome.raCHfqMAQ5/S.dirmngr' failed: No such file or directory

Re: Updated to 5.10.12 and all devices are disconected

Hello @iroody,

Ha looks like it... run this..

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/100-ubnt.list

Are you able to SFTP into the PI and download a recent backup?

Re: Updated to 5.10.12 and all devices are disconected

Hello @iroody,

Backup of the UniFi Network Controller.

Delete the repo for MongoDB 3.4

sudo sed -i '/mongodb/d' /etc/apt/sources.list
sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mongodb*
