Loco M5 Cisco LAN

Hi

I have a p2p link with the M5's in a corp environment with vlan's setup running in WDS mode

the loco's are both running

FW: v6.1.6 (XW)

WPA2-AES securit

connection stats are good:

Signal Strength: -53 dBm
Horizontal / Vertical:-54 / -57 dBm
Noise Floor:-97 dBm
Transmit CCQ:99.1 %
TX/RX Rate:300 Mbps / 300 Mbps
airMAX:Enabled
airMAX Priority:Base
airMAX Quality:96 %
airMAX Capacity:91 %

They run fine for about 20hours and i notice a problem withthe remote loco only - it decides to stop passing traffic through the LAN and anything behind it can't talk out.

If i reboot the device it comes back and runs normally - So i setup ping watchdog to ping the switch that the loco is connected too and when it fails to reboot the device - obvisouly this is just a bandaid solution - i've tried looking at the suppot file the ping watchdog makes but i can't notice anything? i'm probably looking at the wrong thing.

It's like the loco decides to stop passing vlan traffic to the switch?

Has anyone else encountered this or have anything i can try?

Thank you

Re: Loco M5 Cisco LAN

I have the exact same issue. Looking forward to find a solution for this. I also had setup the ping watchdog.

Re: Loco M5 Cisco LAN

i'm glad i'm not the only one now.

i have 2 other devices that are running really old FW -  v5.5.9 (XW) and they are rock solid without the issue. So a downgrade might be in order
