Manual add of remote devices

So I looked around already and found one thread that seemed to have what I wanted. I have multiple clients that have some NanoBeams. Just a pair or two here and there. I already have them added in UNMS but some thend to drop, or I can't see all the info on them since UNMS is still new. I found these instructions

run this via ssh on that radio:

mca-provision-list
wget http://AC2_server_IP:9081/AC2/report
wget http://AC2_server_IP:9081/diag
(provide your ac2 servers IP for 'AC2_SERVER_IP')

I would type the mca-provision-list

would say no entries found

then when running the wget http://myFWDN.com:9081/AC2/report i get a

Connecting to FWDN:9081 (MYIP:9081)
wget: server returned error: HTTP/1.1 500 Server Error

Anyone know where I would go from here? Clean install of AirControll on a Ubuntu Server 18.04.2 VM. Checked all ports and all ports are open (9081/9082)

Thanks

Re: Manual add of remote devices

That's not the way you manually add devices.
These instructions are part of troubleshooting howto's etc.

howto add manually add devices is described in Aircontrol2 user guide.

Re: Manual add of remote devices

Sorry though i had put in there that most of the sits have dynamic IP's and also I don't want to have to port forward a SSH port for every device. some sites i don't do IT for i just manage the cameras as these NanoBeams are part of my camera network not for use for the internet.

If it can't be done without port forwarding SSH the i will just have to stick with UNMS and wait till they add more features.

Re: Manual add of remote devices

@ats123

you need actual IP and ssh for start of monitoring. afterwards it should work without ssh (unless something changes in radio config which triggers a backup via ssh)
