Here another one. Just happened for the first time for this Cube and for this client. I have lost clients over this problem and I'm very lucky not to have lost this client. @UBNT-SNK are you still employed by UBNT? I've tagged you many times with no response. I am working on replacing all my Cubes with 'Tik Haps. Until we get solutions, I will encourage others to do the same.

the Tik Haps are very prone to ethernet failure on the wan port in my enviroment due to constant lightning and very bad power requiring the port transformer to be replaced
they stable but die easily

Hi @Brohamjebodias,
Maybe they let him off the chain....you know.....a vacation.
If it was easy, everyone would be doing it!
"Found the problem! It was the interface between the seat and the keyboard."

I will suggest avoiding the 931 hap, we had worse luck with those than the cubes but the 941 has been a solid router with only 1 failed in about 100 deployed .

We know that d_baltrusis left and they are hidding that.
I wouldn’t be surprise if SNK will also leave.
It’s been a while since he was active in the airCube section.
Deploying airCube was the worst move I had done.
The problem has been reported in april and they acknowledge the bug only 2 weeks ago after having locked all thread that was talking about that issue.
They don’t have any solution.
It’s been over 3 months since the last firmware.
Just put airRouter back in production and add a 5ghz version.
I will also start replacing ISPs by hAP.

Swapped out an ISP today. No amount of channel size/auto, channel/auto, power, WiFi on/off or rebooting the cube and/or devices would let the clients devices connect. I saw this one with my own eyes at the client's premises. I didn't bother with a sup file, but Ubnt can have the cube back - for testing.

Is there a consistency of a brand of device with the wifi issues or are the AirCubes dropping WiFi to all devices?
Are all of you powering the Aircubes with a CPE POE or are you powering them with a USB Adapter?

I've noted the 1AMP POE requirement and have followed it. I also have the problem with the AC's and the supplied DC wall wart (which only have a 0.83 amp supply).

Are the AirCubes set to use HT20 by default for the 2.4ghz? This was a bug way back in 2014 with Unifi if the 2.4 was not HT20 by default anything Apple would kill the wifi

If anyone has a config file that is having the issue 100 % of the time and don't mind sharing the config file I'll run some tests in my lab

To respond to your thoughts @900mhzdude: I use an aircube at home for testing, and connected to one of our towers to simulate an actual customer experience. Definitely not a power issue (we use ubiquiti 1amp PoE bricks for all Aircubes). It seems to be unrelated to channel width selection or WiFi client device manufacturer as well, as I've seen the WiFi connection problem happen to various devices. Changing WiFi settings does "wake it up" by restarting certain services (syslog in the support file shows the services restarting after a settings change).
Disabling unms does lower the frequency of the problems. However, even with the unms agent disabled, the aircube does eventually melt down after a week or so, and gradually stop passing all traffic, with WiFi still associated (this seems like a totally separate issue). This also feels like a memory leak where it gradually dies over time.

I'm running through old UBNT WiFi bugs here so sorry if I am repeatingsome trouble shooting
Have you tired turning off wireless security and make the SSID something super simple like ssid no caps spaces or special characters
It's wifi 2.4Ghz to channel 11 with a 20Mhz width
Dose that make the drops less frequent?

Here's what I see in the syslog from your support file on saturday (airCube-0418D6A2180A.zip) @Brohamjebodias
You can see the devices start dropping like flies. (the amazon, then the android, then the iphone, then the xbox). I wish I was smarter so I could tell you why!

@Brohamjebodias from the most recent events in the syslog of your last support file, you can see the wifi devices dropping like flies (amazon, android, iphone, xbox). Wish I could tell you why.

@iLevac @Brohamjebodias I think it's been a few days since I was active here, as I have been out of the office. I mentioned in one of the other threads, but we have added more developers and QA team members to resolving this issue as of two weeks ago. It is their top priority and as soon as we see some progress soon I will update everyone. We are committed to fixing this and continuing to develop airCube.

Support file as requested, for another AirCube-ISP having trouble.
I am running as a simulated customer, connected to one of our own towers with an Aircube-ISP. Just noticed my Lenovo laptop disconnected from WiFi, and cannot re-connect to it. my iPhone thinks its still assiciated to WiFi , but cannot pass any traffic. I ran over to the aircube to pull a support file via a lan port right after it happened.
Shows no wifi clients connected (iphone still thinks its connected)
DHCP leases for wireless things are still valid
WiFi settings:
System settings: (no unms agent running)
Syslog from support file:
some extra junk lines in there, but essentially the same error is seen as other support files (disassociated due to inactivity)
Error says disconnect/disassociate/deauth due to inactivity. I would guess this is just showing the end-result of a problem we aren't yet seeing the cause of.
Developers: Maybe there's a known bug with the specific release of ath9k you are using? Maybe try the latest package, see if thats a fix? Shoot me a pm. We want to help and get this fixed.
Support file and config attached for those who are curious.

Following up my last post about, everything connected over WiFi eventually became disconnected. When trying to re-connect to WiFi from an iphone the same result occurs that customers are describing.
- Over a few days, WiFi connectivity fails. Between 1-5 days to occur.
- All devices eventually become disconnected from wireless
- Some devices try to reconnect but cannot (Lenovo laptop, Xbox for example)
- Some devices try asking for new password, but does not work (iPhone seen doing this for example)
- Customers forced to power cycle to fix temporarily.
Support file provided, but no syslog entries are present for clients attempting to associate.
