airCube closed beta

Hi everyone,

As we make progress on the issues some of you have been seeing with Wi-Fi authentication and traffic passing with airCube, we are planning to release a closed beta by the end of next week. Although we have reproduced these issues in our lab now, the plan with this release is to get feedback on the potential fixes we have put in and some more information from additional debug.

The plan is that after a short time, this release should move to an open beta, dependent on our fix progress.

I would be happy to assist however possible. We have 100+ deployed and are having to pull them from the field at a rate of 2+ per week as needed.  All issues are related to WiFi auth. We have tried everything. I’m happy to deploy any firmware that “may” help. At this point if the update fails we are headed there soon to replace the router anyway! Lol But seriously, we really like the aircubes if we could get past this WiFi issue and see some of the much needed airgateway features finally make their way to the cube.

Quesch? Can you release a new firmware which is just a roll back to older chipset driver? For a quick fix.

Seems like earlier firmware didn't have issues, or perhaps we just didn''t see them then.

I'm sure you already considered, so sorry if this is a stupid question.

We can give input but the only issue we are seeing is with Aircube dropping UNMS connection

I got directed here as we're seeing this issue with a couple of clients on AirCubes -happy to implement the firmware update for those clients to see if it resolves there issue and provide whatever feedback/info I can.

Would like to participate in the closed beta as well.   Our CSR agents would greatly appreciate this as we have one particular foul mouthed customer calling in and dropping f-bombs everytime the WiFi issue takes place.
