Tonight, almost all of our AirFiber 5XHD's (13 out of 14) show no GPS signal. AirFiber 2X's and 5X's as well as Rocket Prism's and Prism Gen2's show 90% or 100%, even on towers that colocate with 5XHD's.
Running v1.1.1 firmware.

Struth thats strange. Where are you located? Government visit? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/USSS_Electronic_Countermeasures_Suburban

So GPS signal was OK after FW update to v1.1.1 and then suddenly lost GPS signal?
Appreciate if you could send us support file from one of devices with no GPS signal -- thanks!

Sure, can I get your email again?
Oops, I didn't answer your other question. Yes, everything has been running v1.1.1 since release or deployment. The GPS signals had been 100% until yesterday. It's possible that the problem started gradually over the past day or two, since we don't record GPS strength, or it may have happened all at once. Sky is partly cloudy this morning, and it's still the same. 5XHD's are either showing no signal (or wildly fluctuating signals) while Prism's and 2X and 5X radios are showing solid 90% or 100%.
Thanks for your help.

@doc_karl Actually, you might not be far off. We have had widespread GPS problems here in the past. People playing Pokemon are always flying in different directions, walking at 50 miles per hour. Sometimes, enabling GPS sync on UBNT radios puts them exactly 1ms out-of-sync with other radios. We're somewhat close to the Radio Free Zone, but the problem is so rare. I would have thought interference or obstruction, except that it's only affecting one model of radio.

@benvanderjagt do you still see this issue? Have you sent sup file from one of the device to Rasa's mentioned e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org)? If possible remote access that would be helpful as well to check the cause of GPS signal loss in mass specifically on these devices...

It came back. Not one single AF-5XHD in our entire network has GPS signal right now. On the other hand, every single other radio with GPS capability has 90% or 100% signal (with the exception of all of the "Rocket M GPS" units).
We don't use GPS, but how can we help?

Hmm, now the 5X's don't have GPS either. Prism's still have 100%, tracking between 9 and 12 sats, even on the same towers as the 5XHD's with 0% signal.

We still have no GPS on almost any of our 5X or 5XHD radios, and all of the Prism radios have 100% signal. Is anyone else having this problem? I can't imagine it's just us. We have one 5XHD link showing 90% signal off of 6 satellites, but it tends to lose sync often.
We have one AirFiber 2X link on duty, and it has 100% GPS, tracking 10 satellites. Not one Prism radio is showing less than 100% signal right now.

Major storm coming through.....and now GPS works on all radios!
I'm really starting to think there is a satellite giving us bogus info in our area.

It's partly cloudy today, and so a few of the AirFiber radios are showing good GPS. As always, all of the PRISM radios show GPS as expected. In one case, the PRISM radio doesn't even have a GPS antenna attached! It's just a chewed-off RP-SMA connector.
We don't use GPS for channel reuse, just to reduce interference between radios in close proximity. It's not a "problem" for us, but I imagine it's a problem for someone else in my shoes.

Normally you have about 9-10 Satellite infos for good GPS
Incorrect. 4 satellites are sufficient for time source accuracy. 9 or 10 are desired for locational accuracy. Generally speaking comms towers are not navigating.
