There AP was crashing because of misconfiguration when wpa_supplicant was kept running after wireless mode change from STA to AP when auto channel width mode was enabled prior this change.

G400 reported crash was also WD reset, but it was caused by wpa_supplicant running on AP. Auto channel width for STA mode was introduced in v8.3.x releases and only then was created possibility for such kind misconfiguration when swaping modes from STA to AP in open security mode. Earlier and other WD resets are not related to this combination and fix made in v8.4.0-beta2 addressing this particular crash should not fix ALL WD reset seen in the past.
