Rocket Prism 2AC AP Drops All Clients

Issue: Rocket Prism 2AC AP Drops All Clients

AP Firmware: v8.2.0 (2XC)

Client Firmware: v6.0.7 (XM) and (XW)

Antenna:  120-Degree 15dbi Sector Panel with RF Armor

Issue Details: The Rocket Prism 2AC has been dropping all the clients since the previous firmware. We had been running 6.0.3 firmware on the clients previously.

The longest I've seen this AP keep the clients is 2 hours.

Our other 2AC Rockets on the same Tower are fine with mixed XM / XW and firmware between 6.0.3 to 6.0.7.

Log on AP shows the following:

Re: Rocket Prism 2AC AP Drops All Clients

It is best to upgrade the Rocket 5AC to latest firmware v8.3.2: https://www.ubnt.com/download/airmax-ac/rocket-ac

Latest firmware has many bug fixes

@rickritz This is a different product.

@riogma Thanks for the info. Can we get the .sup files for this unit? Also there is a later version of software in development that may resolve this issue for you. @UBNT-Zy please share this with @riogma.

Re: Rocket Prism 2AC AP Drops All Clients

The Firmware that was supplied has resolved the constant disconnects. The clients have been online for over 23 hours without a single disconnect. Thanks!

Re: Rocket Prism 2AC AP Drops All Clients

I seem to be having this same issue. Could you send me this firmware so I can give it a try? I have opened a trouble ticket (1016556). I sent in the support files when I submitted this ticket.

Re: Rocket Prism 2AC AP Drops All Clients

The beta of v8.5.0 which is planned for release on Friday will include updates for 2AC that should help this issue.

Do you have any suggestions I could try before Friday? This is very frustrating for our customers

The AP has been dropping all the clients. Connection Time of the clients is about  2 Days before they are kicked.

Re: Rocket Prism 2AC AP Drops All Clients

What is mind boggling is that this is one of the cleanest access point in terms of noise levels, yet it is the only one that is dropping the clients.

@riogma  Please let us know how it goes.  If you are still experiencing disconnects, grab the Support Info file from the AP and a few of the stations and forward to james@ubnt.com w/ a link to this thread.

Thanks @UBNT-James. I have made the changes.

After making the changes, the clients are dropping every 1 to 2 minutes. Ouch!
