pTmP . nanostation or nanobeam for <300 ft

hi guys. i currently have a ptmp setup with a litebeam 5ac 16 120 as AP, and litebeam 2ac 23 as cpe's. i was told the signal was running to hot (even at the lowest possible power setting). wonder which one i need to replace the cpe's with. station or beam?

i have perfect line of vision between the 3 points , with the AP pointing down about 45degrees (is up on a hill)

as you can see, my aligbnment is horrible.. i've yet to correct this, but i don't know how atm.

the reason for seeking other equipment is that i'm finding out my AP has been disconnecting intermitently (i have to go and phisically unplug it form the POE and reconnect) ..and even after pluging it back in, the antena does not see an CPE's trying to connect.

isp is 200/20 , so even tho the signal sucks, i can still do 338Mbps

I would swap these out for a pair of NanoStation 5AC or NanoBeam 5AC units.

indeed, but which of the two? thanks in advance.
also, do the problems i mentioned mean my AP is failing due to the scenario i described above? or just a faulty AP.

Since we're dealing with tilt, I recommend the NBE-5AC over the Nanostation 5AC. The ball mount on the Nanobeam 5AC is great for adjusting elevation and azimuth for deployments like this.

the nanobeam has a 19dbi antena, whereas the nanostation 16dbi. is that really much different from the 23 i currently have? the whole poin is not to overpower.

thank you.

Grab the NBE-5AC-16. The Gen2 has WiFi management (which is great), but since you're trying to cut back link gain, go with the 16dBi variation. =)

The Gen 1 products are being phased out for Gen 2.
