Placement of Ubiquiti Nanostation LOCO M5

I am looking to extend wireless from one house to another about 150 feet away.  I am looking ot do this wirelessly so I was looking at Ubiquiti Nanostation LOCO M5 Outdoor MIMO 11n 5GHz. locoM5.  The router is located on the main floor and I don't want to run an ethernet cable outside.  Can I put one of the nanostations inside the house and the second in the other house in bride mode?

Ideally both radios will be located outside, as building materials and modern glass can be very effective at blocking transmissions. At this distance, you are likely to be ok, but this depends what the house is made out of.

You need clear line of sight with the Locos preferably mounted outside for best results. An established bridge in good conditions works almost as an invisible Cat 5e cable.

Is there a better solution that will not require external cabling?

Modern building materials such as foil backed plasterboard, e-rated glass etc have attenuation propertys that are prominent at 5GHz especially.

If the window plain ordinary glass then you could try window mounting. But real results come from external mounting in my experience.

Worst case at this distance you can try it.
