PowerBeam 5AC 500 ISO - Download/Upload Speeds Not Consistent with Signal Speeds/Readings

Hello,

We have a set up less than .4 miles apart from each dish that penetrates through a parking lot structore and Sony building(We know. Not much of an option since it is mounted atop of a trailer 20ft tall over to a building with little to none visible mounting locations since there are two large structures in between). Despite that, we have a stable connection although the speeds are not consistent with the readings. Please see below:

DEVICE

We are working to improve the signal within the -60's dbm although we do not know if this is even achieveable when considering the two buildings in between the devices. Any suggestions would help! Shouldn't we be getting better speeds from these readings?

Update! I've updated the channel width on both devices to 60mhz and it has improved to 68/72 dBm along with improved speeds to 76dl/mbps/ by 46upl/mbps!

Count your lucky stars this is working at all!

In order for the results to be predictable your path needs to have a clear LOS including fresnel zone.

With nonLOS links it's a case of try and see what gives the best results! Things you can try:

1) continue to reduce the channel width, you may find a smaller channel width gives the best results.

2) experiment with reducing the TX power on both sides, again you may find a setting lower than max power yielding the best results.

3) experiment with location and alignment, as you are essentially relying on signal reflections the best results may not be in the position / direction you expect.
