Powerbeam Speed Issue - PBE-5ac-620

[ Edited ]

Hello All,

I installed a PBE-5ac-620 about 2 years ago and has been working perfectly, but recently realised the station has been capt to 100mb due to an issue with the antenna.

Have replaced that now but getting an issue where the dishes think they can comunicate at 600mbps but will only achive 300mbps. Will attach some screenshots, becuse not sure what I'm looking for.

Cheers

Josh

Side info, The dishes are on 2 office building and 150m apart from each other. The dishes were origanly for a much longer dish but got repurpusd.

Re: Powerbeam Speed Issue - PBE-5ac-620

I can't see any problem at all, except you should never use

'auto' channels. Instead, select a clear channel; around

5700MHz is often a good choice.

You can safely increase conducted rf output from -4dBm

to +3dBm, and I advise it.  Dave

Re: Powerbeam Speed Issue - PBE-5ac-620

Hey Dave,
Would increase the output mean that the dishes start to scream at each other more? or will I get more transfer?
Would be worried as they are so close together

Cheers
