We currently have a problem with on of our links. This is a 1.9km link, with clear path and good fresnel zone.
The setup is the following on both sides :
Rocket Prisme 5AC Gen2
RF Elements SH-TP-5-30
11dBm TX Power
When we setup the link, aiming was ok and signal was -62/-62 (+/- 2) on both sides.
Now the signal is -62 on CPE side and -88 on AP side. It happened instantly, the link went from OK state to NotOK in a matter of seconds on a random day (approx 3 months after with set it up).
What we did :
- Update from 8.5.8 to 8.5.12 = nothing
- Invert AP and CPE configuration 1st time = the -88 follows on the AP side
- Invert again = -88 comes back to initial state (follows the AP)
- Invert again = -88 doesn't move, now is on the CPE side
- Invert again = -88 doesn't move, now is on the AP side
- Testing channels = nothing
- Testing different TX Power = nothing
- Testing different channel size = nothing
I'd say that our aiming is still correct because the sync didn't change on one side and we would have a very strong attenuation if we didn't aim straigth on the horn.

Yeah sorry I was talking about signal.
We didn't check the cabling. How could this affect the signal ?
There's no cable between AP and antenna if you were talking about coaxial cable.

We use RF Elements symetrical horns with Twistport adapters : https://rfelements.com/products/wireless-broadband/symmetrical-horn-gen2/symmetrical-horn-tp-antenna...

Sorry for the slow answer, I don't recieve all the notifications.
We have no obstructions on the link, one side is a water tower (50 m) the other side is a metal pole (10 m)
Here you can see the current situation as well as UNMS graph

Thanks for your answer
We didn't check it physically for the moment
We did some tests today :
- Going back to a frequency around 5200Mhz resolves the issue
As for now we only have this problem when runing channel 100+

We tried not only 5560 but every 20Mhz channel starting from 5500 to 5700 (Whitout using 5600 to 5650 of course)
Link is still going strong now but using 5260 (20 Mhz) but I'm pretty sure we're not allowed to use this here in Europe or maybe with a 23dBm EIRP ?
