Web UI now that https does not allow access ( Solved Bitdefender)

[ Edited ]

Hi every one,

I think I've missed something..

Is it still possible to access the web UI with the following problem:

"This site can’t provide a secure connection"

I'm not so good with the SSH language so really need to use the web UI in the Nanostations and the likes for setup.

or is there another user friendly way to set up links, control points, UCRMs, Powerbeams, Picostations  etc.

Thanks

Brent

@brent247

assuming you're on same subnet and no company firewalls/UTM etc.:

If this is a new radio, try a different browser and/or try deactivating your pc antivirus/firewall. Some are blocking self-signed certificates.

This is a browser silly security issue.  Just hit ignore, and it will let you in.

Re: Web UI now that https does not allow access

There are no options to continue any more.. like the "safe or Trusted" options before, now I just get..

Unsupported protocol
The client and server don't support a common SSL protocol version or cipher suite.

I have about 30 Ubiquity products I log into quite often through windows 10 64 Chrome about a month ago the sercurity certificat issue happened, either a Ubiquity or Java problem I thought.. I was trying to ignor it until it was fixed.

Willie on youtube had a fix, but it involves SSHing into things

I can still get access through my Android phones browser though.

chrome,FF, Opera and another computer have the same access problem.

My Unifi cloud portal and airControl2 client still work fine.

Would you mind sending me a screenshot of the error you were getting so we can add it to a troubleshooting guide?

Hi,

I have Bitdefender Total Sercurity 2018.

This is what I saw and what I changed.

(Start at the bottom, I can't get them in the right order).

Turning off "encrypted web scan" is the goal.

Then its back to normal " Your connection is not private" click proceed and you're through.

Proceed to safe.PNG
