In the islands of East Indonesia - known as Komodo Dragon Islands (Labuan Bajo)
Device: AirGrid M5-HP
Wireless transfer Internet from 4 ADSL lines from the main island to remote island about 20 Km (LOS)
Client happy with the result which we replaced their slow and expensive 512 Kbps VSAT connection - thanks to UBNT! this is our second project in the same area - loved it!
*** Look at our temporary pole, just from used bamboo..
*** This is will become our pole at the remote island...
In couple months will do another project which beam internet to remote area but with relay station to avoid high hills - will post our story in here again.
try to use 20 MHz channel, i think for 20 KM will be better results for stability and real transfers
if you can pls take screen shot from station device
Cool! I´ve been there :-)
Murah dan Cepat.
Dat noise floor though!!!
I live in the wrong place. It looks awesome!
Great story, thanks for sharing!
Sweet! Nice story, thank you for sharing
Thanks! what is the guidance for "channel width" 20 or 40 Mhz? and read other stories "Noise Floor" better at about 80-100, but some said as lower is better - will check back once their fixed the poles at AP and station.
Most of the settings I used default from the device.
Once got chance will post station screen
Noise Floor of -102 dBm is EXCELLENT.
Channel Width: Leave at 40. Your CCQ (99.1) and AMQ (96%) are excellent.
AMC = 46% out of a max possible 50% (airGrid). Is also very good.
