NanoBeam 5AC 16 ToughSwitch PoE UniFi UAP AC Pro

Description

Three different Ubiquiti products in one box.

NanoBeam antennas work as PTP connection.

ToughSwitch keep everything together

Unifi UAP AC Pro is for future management purposes - UniFi controller will be runnin on one server and will controll all UAP ACs.

We decided to use ToughSwitch because of 24V PoE option to power up NanoBeams and NanoStations.

UniFi UAP AC Pro still needs its own PoE 48V injector.

Nice job getting it together. Do yourself a big favor and run shielded cat5/6 to the NanoBeam and NanoStation. Is it possible to go into a little more detail on the use of equipment?

We usually use outdoor gel Cat5 non-shielded. No problems so far with the wires.

NanoStation - old PTP bridge connection

We are replacing old gear with new NanoBeams 1st and 2nd generation.

NanoBeams are more reliable and works better in this environment.

Switxh is just to connect everything together :-)

I know - it’s just for managing purposes in the future. It’s not a public network access point. So it doesn’t matter if it’s pointing down - as it should be - or it’s installed as is now.
