Connecting Blink cameras via UAP-AC to PB-M2-400

I have a pair of Powerbeams set up to provide internet connection to a remote solar array to monitor solar production. The remote PB is conencted to my two solar inverters through an ethernet switch but I do not currently have wifi on that end. I would like to add a pair of Blink securuity cameras which require wifi. Can I simply connect a UAP-AC-Lite to my switch as a wifi access point? Is there a better approach? Thanks in advance.

You can do that, how far away will the cameras be from the UniFi AP?

Only about 10'. Cameras will be on the outside of a barn, AP just inside.

Is the barn made of wood?

Yes, wood siding. No insulation or interior paneling.

Ok, then you will probably be alright with this.
