Add ports, will a US-8 work?

Posted this in another forum but didn't get confirmation.

I just want to plug a switch into a spare port on my AirRouter to add ports. Can I do this with a US-8?

I know that device requires POE which is fine.

POE, or a power adapter. Yes, it is one way to add switch ports to your network.
