Easy to monitor the devices.

And i love the 10 gig sfp+ uplink between the switches.

SFP cables are not expensive and the connector is much bether than a rj45.

Excellent setup. Nice and clean. The rackmount for the EdgeRouter will make it just that much better! That 10Gbps connection is pretty awesome. I agree with ya! What type of internet connection do you have? Are a lot of users going to be running around the hospital using much data? I would imagine not so much...

The internet connection is a 240/30 megabit coax connection.

If they like they can boost to 500/40 for 15 euro/month extra.

They have 10 4MP ip cams and 2 5MP.

17 voip phones.

The data is synced with dropbox between the computers.

The customer database is cloud based.

Some laptop backups to the nas.

The 10 gigabit uplink is overkill but the same cost as a 1gig sfp connection ;-)

@whaw Great setup! Love how clean and organized it looks. What cable are you using between the EdgeRouter and Edge switch? It looks like a DAC cable.

I use 'Generetic 0.5m (2ft) 10G SFP+ Passive Direct Attach Copper Twinax Cable 30AWG' cables.

They are greate at price/quality.

Tested at 1gig and 10gig.

@whaw Thanks! I have been looking for DAC cables to connect stuff at 1GB in racks, so interesting to hear that 10GB cables will work. It's always unsure if they will.

I have add the rack mount for the Edgerouter 4

Nice setup. What are those patch cable management trays you're using?
