Crib contrlling via internet

by on ‎12-11-2018 11:02 AM

Hey,

I wanted show original project, built together with friends. There is a crib controlled by the Internet.
Everyone can control the crib by website.

We used Rasspberyy Pi 3, 2 IP Cameras, 2 x Arduino Nano and a lot of self-igniting 😀

The comunication communication is based on Ubiquiti NanoBeam, we have Internet from a local ISP.
Ubiquiti is mounted on a mast on which the flag normally hangs.

In the crib we instaled the computer speaker - all carols were heard in city center 😀

I built it with my colleagues for about a month.

Hi everyone kindly assist with a project am undertaking

I wish to provide wifi service for my community, I intend sending my wifi  signal to a radius of at least 2km or if possible beyond but the challenge is that I want the client at the other end to be able to access my signal via their mobile phones and laptops without installing any device at their end

kindly advice me on the possible equipment I can buy

I just got the powerbeam 2ac-400 only to find it is a ptp device only thats a shocker for me. I am trying setup a hotspot in my area I bought a powerbeam m5 only to find out that only 5GHz devices can only pick it up so I went back and bought the powerbeam 2ac-400 airOS 8 thought this would do the trick only to find out it is only for linking ptp I am frustrated. I want to supply my area with hotspot service what is the best device can I use.

@Jamaicadjster

best place to ask is the form section not here but since I see it.

recommended solution would be Point to Multi Point Link from ISP to each property (use Ubiquiti radios) , then add Access Point ( Unifi AP of your choice) for broadcasting WiFi inside the house. This is more expensive but ensure mimimum issue so that you can have happy customer aka regular payment .
