Guidelines and Rules

• Be Nice

  Don't post content that is abusive, vulgar, obscene, hateful, fraudulent, threatening or that discloses private or personal matters concerning any person. This includes language, information, or images. Don't post messages designed to evade profanity or other filters.

• Be Civil

  No "Rants," "slams," or legal threats against us or another company or competitor.

• Don't Hate

  No bigoted, hateful, or racially offensive comments.

• Stay On Topic

  Keep off-topic threads in "The Lounge". No political or religious statements or commentary. No financial or stock related posts -- We'd like to keep the forum focused around our products (the use of the products, improving them, etc).

• Keep It Legal

  Language that promotes illegal activity or discusses illegal activities with the intent to commit them. This includes any message that solicits or promotes the use of an illegal substance.

• Don't Advertise

  Advertising, promotional materials, or other forms of solicitation, including chain letters, pyramid schemes, class action suits, or charitable appeals. This includes advertising links in signatures.

• Don't Be Destructive

  Don't post any file or link to a file that contains viruses, corrupted files, "Trojan Horses," or any other contaminating or destructive features that may damage someone else's computer.

• Don't Spam

  Don't Post duplicate posts, spam messages, or posts repeated excessively on one or more boards. Don't bump posts that haven't received a response within 24 hours of the original post.

• Stay Private

  Personal phone numbers or addresses, email addresses, private information such as social security numbers, or other contact information that is not your own, including, but not limited to, email addresses of any of our employees.

• Be Yourself

  Don't post any message that impersonates another person or affiliation with an entity, including, but not limited to, Ubiquiti.
