Ceiling mounted motion sensor

I'm scared :/

WARNING: Avoid using this product during an
electrical storm. There may be a remote risk of
electric shock from lightning.

Re: Ceiling mounted motion sensor

This isn't the only product with that warning. I recently opened a Ubiquiti radio and read the manual..... Same warning.
My tower climbers were not happy when I told them they had to take the radios off the towers any time a storm is coming through.

Re: Ceiling mounted motion sensor

I guess with the sensor the shock is only an issue if you are using the mFi remote.

Re: Ceiling mounted motion sensor

I'd file that warning under the same heading as the famous McDonalds 'Caution - this coffee may be hot'.

They should make towers that can retract into the ground so you don't have to climb them.

Holy crap. That's a million dollar idea. NO ONE STEAL IT!

That is way too small.

And yes. Size matters.
