Custom sensor programming

Hi,

I am using mPort to see the signal from photo sensor relay job. Installed and got connected to controller on wifi. I went to the PC and opened the browser and logged in to controller. I went to customer sensor configuration at settings and entered the same program as it is from the website. I went to mPort settings, opened one of the unused port and did not see the current custom sensor configuration in the list. Where I missed?

Re: Custom sensor programming

Got it! I forgot to use the flower braces on the whole program. And that's why the program did not take it. Now it is done!

Re: Custom sensor programming

You need to add the display name in quotes before the start of the flower brace.

{

"5V Temp" : {

"desc" : "5vTemp.",
"conversion" : "xyz*100",
"analog" : true,
"rj45_v1" : false,
"tblock_v1" : true,
"do_volt0" : 5,
"rep_analog" : 1,
"default_tag" : "temperature",
"analog_tag" : "temperature",
"sum_label" : "degreeHours",
"unit" : "CELSIUS",
"precision" : 2

}

}

You need to put a structure inside the set of flower braces... I am enclosing the guide for you.
